Beginner Book Dust Jacket Back 'B', which can be found on the first editions of five Beginner Books B-02 to B-06, all published in 1958:

Version 'a' DJ for First Edition B-02 to B-06
Beginner Book Dust Jacket Back 'B' lists all six books that were being published im 1958 for the Beginner Book franchise. It is uncommon to find copies of B-01 The Cat In The Hat with this back DJ - this issue is much more scarce than the '195/195' third issue The Cat In The Hat.
Note that the publisher is 'Beginner Books, Inc', 'Distributed by RANDOM HOUSE', since in 1958 Beginner Books was a separate publishing entity and not yet owned by Random House.

1958 Beginner Books Dust Jacket Back 'B' Version 'b'
1958 Beginner Books Dust Jacket Back 'B' Version 'b' was used on for early printings of B-02 to B-06 published in late 1958 to early 1959.
This DJ was used in late 1958/early 1959, where the Beginner Book logo changes from 'FOR BEGINNING READERS' to the more familiar logo with the encircled image of the 'Cat In The Hat' and 'You can read this all by yourself' on top of 'Beginner Books'.
This new Beginner Books logo was not established soon enough to be used on the Beginner Books published in 1959 (for 1959 Beginner Book Back DJ 'C').
