Dr. Seuss First Edition Books

Beginner Book Dust Jacket Back 'M' advertises The Cat In The Hat Beginner Book Dictionary (1964), and does not list any Beginner Books.

While this DJ back is found on the first editions of the above books, it was also used by Random House during most of 1964 for the publication of the reprints of the earlier Beginner Books.

The first edition Beginner Book B-40 I Wish That I Had Duck Feet (1965) is highly sought after since it was written by Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel) under the pseudonum Theo LeSieg, the latter being his real name spelled backwards.

1964 The Bike Lesson - Second Berenstain Bears Book!

Beginner Book B-36 The Bike Lesson (1964) is the second book in the tremendously successful Berenstain Bears franchise, following the 1962 publication of B-28 The Big Honey Hunt (1962). There are over 300 books in the franchise, with an estimated 300 million copies sold worldwide since 1962!

The first edition B-36 The Bike Lesson is relatively underappreciated in the market relative to its impact and importance in American children's book history.
