1966 Beginner Books Dust Jacket Back 'Q'
No First Edition Beginner Books
Beginner Books DJ Back 'Q' lists forty-one titles which were published prior to 1967 for the Beginner Book franchise. The three missing titles are:
It is unclear whether these three books were taken out of publication, or whether their titles were simply excluded from the list.
Four new titles were introduced in 1966, and while all four books are among the 41 books listed on Beginner Book DJ Back 'Q', however none of their first editions have this DJ configuration:
- B-41 The Bears' Picnic (1966)
- B-42 Don And Donna Go To Bat (1966)
- B-43 You Will Live Under The Sea (1966)
- B-44 Come Over To My House (1966)
Beginner Books DJ Back 'Q' was used by Random House during most of 1966 for the publication of the reprints of the earlier Beginner Books. It is quite common to find the earlier Beginner Books with this 1966 DJ configuration.
Notice that Fox In Socks is spelled correctly, versus the misspelling on Beginner Books DJ Back 'O'
